1,800 pot plants seized in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Lincoln police say they've found another forest of marijuana plants.

Police spokeswoman Katie Flood says a neighbor tipped police about a house that was full of pot plants.

Officers searched the home Wednesday evening and seized nearly 1,800 plants.

They arrested 34-year-old Tham Cao. A jail spokesman said Cao remained in custody Thursday. Records don't list the name of his attorney.

Last week, Lincoln officers seized more than 1,400 marijuana plants and arrested five people at three houses.
