BUS SERVICE

Metro Area Transit: Routes throughout Omaha area. Exact fare required. Adult fare, $1.25. Transfers, 5 cents. Express bus fare, $1.50. Senior citizens, disabled and Medicare passengers pay 60 cents with MAT ID. Student fare with MAT ID, $1. Ages 5 to 9, 50 cents; children younger than 5, free with an adult. MOBY Van Service: Operated by Metro Area Transit. Curb-to-curb shared van ride service for passengers certified under the Americans With Disabilities Act and within Omaha's city limits who are unable to use conventional ADA fixed-route MAT bus service. MOBY applications are available at 2222 Cuming St. or 341-7560, ext. 2105. Cost: $2 per trip, by appointment only, 346-8779. Operates 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday; 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. .

Park-and-Ride: Operated by Metro Area Transit on express routes only. Route 96: St. Gerald Catholic Church, 96th and Q Streets. Route 94: Oak View Mall at Hy-Vee, 144th Street and Oak View Drive; Lakeside South Professional Center, 168th Street and Lakeside Hills Plaza. Route 97: Carpetland, Millard Avenue and U Street; Walnut Grove Bag ‘N Save, 153rd Street and Weir Drive.
